- Olive Oil 10 oz (283 gr.)
- Coconut Oil 10 oz (283 gr.)
- Ostrich Oil 6 oz (170 gr.)

Basic Soap Making Instructions
- Wear safety goggles and protective gloves such as neoprene gloves
- Combine solid lye and water (ALWAYS pour lye into the water, and NEVER pour the water onto dry lye)
- Stir well and then set aside, allowing the mixture to cool to 100-125 F (37 to 52 C). Do not breathe the fumes.
- Combined mixed solution with the melted tallow/lard and the oils. Be careful not to splash.
- Stir the combined mixture until it traces. This is the point at which the mixture thickens.
- If the mixture has not traced after 15 minutes stirring, leave for 15 minutes and stir for 5 minutes. Repeat this process until mixture traces.
- Pour the raw soap mixture into molds. Allow to rest for a few days.
- Turn the soap out of the molds, and if very soft, allow the soap to cure for a few days to firm the outside.
- Cut the soap into manageable size bars, and allow to cure and dry until firm. This is best done in an airy place where the soap bars can breathe.
